I'm Kelvin, a father and husband first, and those roles have completely shaped how I approach wedding photography. When I'm not shooting weddings, you'll find me shooting film photography or listening to vintage records (I'm at 500 LPs and counting, everything from Frank Sinatra to bossa nova).
My wife and I love exploring the city together, finding new restaurants and bars, especially jazz clubs and comedy spots. Those nights out, just the two of us soaking in the energy of New York, remind me why I love this city so much and why I love capturing it through my work.

I'm Ramon, and I came up in the music industry, which gave me an appreciation for energy, rhythm, and how to capture authenticity in high-pressure environments. That background serves me incredibly well in weddings, where so much is happening simultaneously and you need to anticipate moments before they happen.
Outside of work, I'm an amateur gourmet chef. At the other end of the scale, I'm also into dirt bikes, specifically enduro and off-road riding, which gives me an outlet for that adrenaline and adventure that balances the precision required in cinematography.

This is one of the biggest advantages of working with Artistry Wedding Co. You're not hiring a photographer and then separately hiring a videographer and hoping they work well together. You're hiring a unified creative team where Kelvin and Ramon have spent years developing a cohesive aesthetic and collaborative workflow. Your photos and videos won't just be in the same ballpark stylistically; they'll tell one seamless visual story because they're being created simultaneously by artists who share a singular vision.
You've looked at what feels like a hundred photographer websites, and they're all starting to blur together. Here's what we can tell you: we've been doing this for over 15 combined years. We have the technical mastery and artistic vision that only comes from photographing hundreds of weddings. More importantly, we have past clients who trust us so completely that they refer their friends without hesitation, venues who recommend us enthusiastically, and a portfolio that speaks for itself.
This is one of the most common concerns we hear, and it's completely valid. Most people aren't professional models comfortable in front of cameras. That's exactly why we prioritize making you comfortable above everything else. We're never making you hold uncomfortable poses for extended periods or asking you to do anything that feels inauthentic. Our years of experience mean we can make anyone look and feel their best, without them even knowing the camera is on.
We are absolutely obsessive about this. Our entire aesthetic is built around creating work that transcends trends. We draw inspiration from film photography, from vintage glamour, from the kind of wedding photos that have remained stunning across decades. When you look at your Artistry Wedding Co. gallery in 2055, it should still take your breath away. That's our promise and our standard for every single wedding we document.
Between the two of us, we've documented hundreds of weddings. We have literally seen everything: complete timeline collapses, weather disasters, family drama, vendor no-shows, wardrobe malfunctions, you name it. This experience means we never panic. When something goes wrong (and something almost always does because weddings are complex events involving dozens of people and moving parts), we're already solving the problem calmly and efficiently.
Kelvin captured our civil union beautifully. He was incredibly patient, attentive, and made us feel comfortable the entire time. Every special moment was photographed perfectly, and the images truly reflect the joy of the day. Highly recommend him!

I'm a native New Yorker through and through. Growing up here taught me how to move, observe, and find meaning in fast moments and quiet ones alike. That rhythm, grit and sensitivity shaped the way I see people and the way I film.
Growing up in Queens, I was constantly surrounded by all the best foods, music and culture. I found my love in art at a very young age, often drawing and painting for hours. My creative passion grew into eventually picking up a camera and taking photos of the city as they were paintings on a canvas.
I started my career filming hip-hop legends in the music industry before transitioning to weddings. People ask if I miss it, and honestly, no. Music videos were exciting, but there's something about wedding cinematography that feeds my soul in a way nothing else does.
I trained jiu-jitsu seriously for years, and the discipline translates directly to photography in ways people might not expect. Both require you to stay calm under pressure, to think several moves ahead, to be present in the moment while also maintaining strategic awareness.
I'm an amateur gourmet chef, which my friends and family benefit from regularly. I love experimenting with new techniques, trying to perfect dishes, obsessing over getting flavors exactly right. That perfectionism carries over directly to my editing process.
I retired from the NYPD after a decade, which surprises some people when they meet me because I don't necessarily fit whatever image they had in their head. That experience gave me a deep appreciation for authentic human moments and taught me how to observe without imposing.
I'm into dirt bikes and enduro cycling, which provides a completely different kind of adrenaline and challenge than cinematography. I think everyone needs outlets that are completely different from their primary work, activities that engage different parts of your brain and body.
I'm a father and husband first, photographer second, and those roles have completely changed how I see weddings. I understand now, in a visceral way, what it means to trust someone with preserving your family's memories.
We're not photographers who moved here recently and are still figuring out the city. We're native New Yorkers who know these streets, these venues, these neighborhoods intimately. We understand NYC and Long Island wedding logistics: the traffic patterns, the permit requirements for certain photo locations, the best times to shoot at popular spots, the hidden gems that make for stunning backdrops.
More than geography, we embody New York energy. That mix of sophistication and grit, pride and humility, fast paced efficiency and genuine warmth. This shows up in our work ethic, our communication style, our ability to navigate complex situations, and the aesthetic we create. When you hire us, you're hiring people who fundamentally understand the culture and energy of the place you're celebrating your wedding.
